Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Doxium ("Service", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Doxium is an AI-powered document management and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) SaaS platform. Users can upload documents, process them with AI embeddings, and perform natural-language queries across their document library.

3. Plans, Features & Limits

Doxium offers two plans. Limits are enforced at the platform level and query counts reset on your monthly billing date.

"All types" = .pdf, .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .csv, .txt, .md, .html, .json. Document limits are lifetime totals. AI queries reset monthly on your billing date and are subject to a fair-use rate limit of 2 per minute.

4. Subscription & Payment

The Pro plan is billed at $7 USD per month via Lemon Squeezy. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date. Doxium does not store credit card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy.

5. Free Plan

The Free plan is provided as-is with no payment required. Doxium may enforce stricter rate limits on Free users during high server load and reserves the right to modify the Free plan with 30 days' notice.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. Notify us at support@doxium.app of any unauthorised access.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload illegal, harmful, or IP-infringing content
• Do not use automated tools to exceed query rate limits

8. Data & Privacy

Your documents are stored securely and accessible only to your account. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Doxium is not liable for losses from service downtime.

10. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of uploaded documents. You grant Doxium a limited licence to process and store content solely to provide the Service. The Doxium platform and codebase remain the exclusive property of Doxium.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doxium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend accounts violating these Terms. You may cancel Pro at any time; access continues until the billing period ends. After cancellation your account reverts to Free limits. Documents exceeding Free limits are kept for 30 days before deletion.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Pro subscribers will be notified by email.
